Immediate Impact?

Number 1 pick Michael Brockers

What 2012 picks can contribute right away? I feel  quite a few with help out early. The plan is to start both Brian Quick and Chris Givens at receiver. Janoris Jenkins has received lots of praise out of coach Fisher already and he is already known as a lock down corner it will just depend how well he gets the system down and stays out of trouble. 6th rounder Greg Zuerlein is a shoe in for kicker since Josh Brown was released. Rokevious Watkins can hopefully take over the left guard position too add some bulk and nastiness to the line. Also although Isaiah Pead won't be starting anytime soon (til Jackson gets injured halfway through the season) he should keep Jackson fresh and Pead has his own unique set of skills. Trumaine Johnson intrigues me, if we didn't acquire Cortland Finnegan id say we would have a great set of rookie starting corners, Johnson with elite size and Jenkins with elite ball skills, but Finnegan and Jenkins will start. I think Johnson would be a great safety with his speed, size, and strength and most experts figured he would translate to safety but coach Fisher has said Johnson is a corner.

Oh and how could i forget? Michael Brockers will be lining up next to newly acquired Kendall Langford. I expect Brockers to immediately help with penetration and stuffing the run and as the season progresses his pass rushing will improve. Not to mention the new big tackles in the middle will help 2nd year high potential pick Robert Quinn and Chris Long.
